Rainforest Survey Data

My survey is about deforestation in the rainforest. It is important because the rainforest is a major supply of oxygen to Earth, and it is a home to many animals. If we cut rainforests too much, we will lose a lot of oxygen, as well as some animal species. So we shouldn't cut down too much trees anywhere.




A majority of the people new what rainforests are. Many people are mad that rainforest are being cut down. Most people don't like rainforest being cut down. About half of the people used the rainforest a lot. Half of the people thought it wasn't right to cut down trees. A lot of the people bought products made from rainforests. A little over half of the people thought we could help the rainforest a lot. A little under half of the people would act by planting more trees. Most people think Global Warming effects this.Half of the people thought the rainforest might disappear.



Now that I now that I now that many rainforest are being cut down, I would like for people to stop cutting down rainforests. I want to have plenty oxygen and find and keep the new and old animal species. We should keep the enviroment clean and alive. We can cut the rainforest down, but can we grow back what we cut? It is our choice to help or destroy the rainforests. I want to keep the rainforests big and clean. I hope you will to.

Junction Trip

My favorite part in junction was Aquaticbiology. My favorite part in it, was going in the river and fishing for macroinvertebrates and looking at them in a microscope. The boots were all the way up to my knees, and the net was 2x taller than me! It was really fun when we got to swim. There was a bug in my shoe! But it got away. My favorite macroinvertebrate was the creeping waterbug. it has huge fangs. But my favorite part in junction, was free time. We got to go where ever we wanted, like the river. The food was also great. The bunks were awesome, we each got to get tops on them. I'll miss junction, but happy to be back home.

My plant is the sweet birch. It is a tree. It is also called cherry birch and black birch. It reproduces through seeds during mid September through November. The seeds come in flower form. The climate is damp and very cold. The trees have to survive snowstorms. There are three types of soil they are Spodosols, Inceptisols, and Ultisols. The plant is a land plant because it stays on snowy areas. The tree is vulnerable to fires because its bark is thin and diseases.

Pioneer Species

My pioneer species is the Sweet Birch. Sweet Birch is a tree. It is also called black birch and cherry birch. They live in damp and very cold areas. Their are three types of soils they usually live in Spodosol,Inceptisols, and Ultisols. They reproduce with seeds during mid September to November. The seeds usually spread through wind over crusted snow. They are flower seeds.The tree's have to endure snow storms. The trees are vulnerable to ground fires because they have really thin bark. Light scorching the bottom of the tree can lower resistance to bugs or diseases. Several leaf eating bugs infest on the sweet birch. The most common ones are the tubemaker, birch skeletonizer, oriental moth, gypsy moth, and dusky birch sawfly. Things made of sweet birch are furniture, cabinetes boxes, wood ware, and millwork. The sweetbirch is a land plant. They live on solid ground with grass so its on land.

My favorite colors ORANGE and GOLD, my favorite hobby is tennis. My foods are noodles, steak, sushi, ice cream, shrimp, pizza, nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, cinamon rolls, chocolate, pie, hamburger helper, cheese stuff, and cookies. My favorite drinks are cherry coke, milk, juice(not grapefruit), rootbeer, dr.pepper, pibb extra,and smoothies. I want a puppy, and I don't have any pets.

For Christmas I am going to New York. I'm going to see the big ball drop. I am going to see the Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, ground-zero,and look at museums.
